filmdirecting4women is run by female directors for female directors.
We are proud to be part of the growing worldwide movement of women who wish to tell their stories through film.
By positive and proactive means we will do all we can to encourage a larger percentage of women into the role of director. As female directors breaking into a male dominated industry we wished for much more support, training and practical help than was on offer and filmdirecting4women aims to fill that gap. We are a family of female directors all with the same aim – the opportunities we wish for ourselves, we also wish for each other.
